Development of Sectoral Statistics

In carrying out BPS' main duties and functions in the regions, Pandeglang Regency BPS is required to always collaborate with all OPDs within the Pandeglang Regency Government. Apart from that, the Regency BPS is also obliged to supervise all statistical activities carried out in all OPDs, through data guardians within the Pandeglang Regency Government, namely the Department of Communication, Crypto Informatics and Pandeglang Regency Statistics.

In accordance with Presidential Decree no. 62 of 2019. Concerning Life Statistics, when the Population and Civil Registry Service records the data is accurate, BPS no longer needs to hold a population census which is carried out every ten years. This data can be used as a basis for development in Pandeglang Regency.
