SUSENAS MSBP and SERUTI Field Officer Training September 2024

September 5, 2024 | BPS Activities

(05/09) Training for Field Officers of the MSBP National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) and Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI) September 2024.

The Pandeglang Regency Central Statistics Agency has organized the 2024 Quarterly SUSENAS MSBP and SERUTI training at the Horison Altama Pandeglang Hotel on 2-4 September 2024. This activity was attended by 11 PML people, 21 PCL people, 4 committee members, and 2 National Instructors. This training was opened by the Head of BPS Pandeglang, R.Achmad Widijanto, S.Si,MM. In his speech, the Head of BPS Pandeglang advised that field enumerators (PCL) and field supervisors (PML) work together well so that they can complete data collection according to the SOP and have a response rate of 100 percent.
Susenas is one of the important sources of household socio-economic data in Indonesia. In September 2024, Susenas data collection was carried out using the Socio-Cultural and Educational Module Questionnaire (MSBP) and the Consumption / Expenditure (KP) questionnaire.

The 2024 MSBP module includes various indicators such as social welfare indicators, community appreciation and participation in objects of cultural advancement, media access, community participation in sports activities, community interest in reading, the Indonesian service movement, actualization of Pancasila values, and educational support indicators (facilities and infrastructure), activities outside school hours, education costs.
The consumption and expenditure module is a data source for two of the four national development targets, namely calculating the poverty level and the Gini index.
With this training, it is hoped that field officers will be able to understand the material well so that when working in the field they can produce quality data.
