Preparatory Meeting for Data Collection for the Quarterly Household Survey (Seruti) Quarter IV 2024

On Thursday (7/11), BPS Pandeglang Regency held a Preparatory Meeting for Data Collection for the Quarterly Household Survey (Seruti) Quarter IV of 2024.

SERUTI 2024 is a survey activity which aims to obtain household economic statistical data in the form of income values and patterns, consumption expenditure, non-consumption expenditure, investment and household financial transactions. SERUTI is the basic data in calculating Quarterly Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from the household expenditure side. So this survey was carried out to see developments in household consumption patterns between quarters.

The meeting was opened by the Head of BPS Pandeglang Regency who was represented by the Associate Expert Statistician of BPS Pandeglang Regency, Mr. Adji Subekti S.ST., S.E, M.Si. In his speech, Mr. Adji conveyed the importance of the Seruti Data Collection Results, and asked that all officers be expected to collect data with full responsibility and carry out in-depth investigations regarding household expenditure. Because, SERUTI has to recall respondents' memories to the situation of a week, a month or even three months ago regarding food and non-food expenditure.

At this meeting, the concept and definition material related to Seruti Data Collection was presented as well as the results of the evaluation of Seruti data collection in the previous quarter. Seruti Quarter IV data collection will be carried out on November 11 - November 30 2024.
