Abstract

In May 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Pandeglang Regency was 3.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.86.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the production group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.72 percent; clothing and footwear group at 1.66 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.27 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group at 3.36 percent; health group by 2.63 percent; transportation group by 0.79 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.36 percent; education group of 0.17 percent; food and beverage/restaurant preparation group at 4.11 percent; and the personal care and other services group was 3.16.
The monthly deflation rate (m-to-m) and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Pandeglang Regency in May 2024 are 1.06 percent and 1.77 percent respectively.
