Abstract

In August 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Pandeglang Regency of 1.72 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.91.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 0.94 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.08 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.18 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 3.87 percent; health group by 3.77 percent; transportation group by 1.23 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 3.49 percent; education group by 1.44 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.89 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.54.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Pandeglang Regency in August 2024 were 0.08 percent and 0.86 percent, respectively.
