Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) of Pandeglang Regency in 2024 reached 70.88, an increase of 0.60 points or 0.85 percent compared to the previous year which was 70.28.

During 2020-2024, the HDI of Pandeglang Regency increased by an average of 0.72 percent per year.

The growth of the HDI of Pandeglang Regency in 2024 accelerated from the previous year. All dimensions forming the HDI increased, especially the decent standard of living.

The life expectancy of babies born in 2024 was 74.22, an increase of 0.21 years compared to those born in the previous year.

In the knowledge dimension, the Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) of the 7-year-old population in 2024 increased by 0.01 years compared to the previous year, from 13.73 years to 13.74 years. Meanwhile, the Average Length of Schooling (RLS) of the population aged 25 years and over increased by 0.01 years, from 7.15 years to 7.16 years in 2024.

The dimension of a decent standard of living measured based on the average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) in 2024 increased by 423 thousand rupiah or 4.62 percent compared to the previous year, namely from Rp. 9,151,000 to Rp. 9,574,000.
