Export and Import Development of Banten Province November 2024

A. Export Development

• Banten's export value in November 2024 fell 2.30 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$1,143.42 million to US$1,117.07 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in November 2024 decreased by 2.31 percent to US$1,111.73 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in November 2024 came from the plastic goods and plastic goods (HS 39) category, reaching US$100.85 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in November 2024 is China with an export value of US$172.00 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in November 2024 will experience a decline in almost all sectors, except for the mining sector and others.
• Banten's export value in November 2024 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$926.83 million.

B. Import Development

• Banten's import value in November 2024 fell 17.87 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$3,921.00 million to US$3,220.15 million.
• Oil and gas imports in November 2024 fell 23.74 percent from US$590.60 million in the previous month to US$450.37 million. Likewise, for non-oil and gas commodities there was also a decrease in the value of imports by 16.83 percent to US$2,769.78 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in November 2024 came from jewelry/gems (HS 71) which reached US$542.40 million.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in November 2024 is China with an import value of US$545.72 million.
• The value of imports according to goods use categories in November 2024 compared to the previous month increased in the consumer goods category, while the raw/auxiliary materials and capital goods categories decreased. Consumer goods rose by US$3.00 million (1.42 percent), while raw/auxiliary materials fell by US$218.44 million (8.51 percent) and capital goods fell by US$485.41 million (42.43 percent).
