Development of Farmers Term of Trade and Grain Price in Banten Province in November 2024

Abstract

Banten's November 2024 FTT of 108.78 decreased by 0.81 percent from the previous month's FTT. This was due to a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.22 percent and an increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.60 percent.
In November 2024 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.77 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Personal Care and Other Services; Household Supplies, Equipment and Routine Maintenance; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; Health; Clothing and Footwear; and Transportation. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups of Information, Communication, and Financial Services; Recreation, Sports, and Culture; Education; and Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants did not experience significant changes.
Banten's Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in November 2024 amounted to 113.60 or decreased 0.31 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
Grain prices at the farm level in November 2024 experienced an increase in the quality of milled dry grain (GKG) by 2.89 percent and an increase in the quality of dry harvested unhusked rice (GKP) by 1.63 percent.
