Abstract

Banten's January 2025 NTP of 110.15 increased by 0.71 percent from the previous month's NTP. This was due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.73 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.02 percent.
In January 2025 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.09 percent. The decrease in the Household Consumption Index occurred in one expenditure group, namely Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel. While the increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in nine expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Transportation; Health; Recreation, Sports, and Culture; Household Supplies, Equipment and Routine Maintenance; Clothing and Footwear; Personal Care and Other Services; Information, Communication, and Financial Services; and Provision of Food and Beverages / Restaurants. Meanwhile, the Education expenditure group did not experience significant changes.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in January 2025 amounted to 115.33 or increased 0.33 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
