Abstract

A. Export Development

  • Banten's export value in January 2025 increased 2.16 percent compared to the month previously, namely from US$1,047.92 million to US$1,070.52 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in January 2025 increased by 2.58 percent to US$1,068.68 million compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export value in January 2025 comes from the group cocoa/chocolate goods (HS 18) which reached US$106.35 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in January 2025 will be United States with an export value of US$179.03 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in January 2025 will increase in all sectors.
  • Banten's export value in January 2025 is highest through Tanjung Priok Port which reached US$867.10 million.

 

B. Import Development

 

  • Banten's import value in January 2025 fell 17.17 percent compared to the month previously, namely from US$3,328.56 million to US$2,757.03 million.
  • Oil and gas imports in January 2025 fell 33.65 percent from US$611.57 million in the previous month to US$405.78 million. Likewise, in commodities non-oil and gas import value also decreased by 13.46 percent to US$2,351.24 million compared to the previous month. 
  • The largest value of non-oil and gas imports in January 2025 will come from machinery/equipment electricity (HS 85) which reached US$456.43 million.
  • The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in January 2025 is China with an import value of US$602.57 million.
  • Import values ​​by goods use class in January 2025 compared The previous month saw a decline in all categories of goods.
  • Consumer goods decreased by US$88.88 million (34.67 percent), raw materials/help fell by US$300.74 million (12.86 percent), then at capital goods decreased by US$181.91 million (24.78 percent).
