Abstract

Banten's FTT in December 2024 of 109.37 increased by 0.54 percent from the previous month's FTT. This was due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.40 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.85 percent.
In December 2024 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 1.06 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in six expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Personal Care and Other Services; Transportation; Health; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; and Clothing and Footwear. While the expenditure groups of Supplies, Equipment and Routine Maintenance of Households; Information, Communication, and Financial Services; Recreation, Sports, and Culture; Education; and Provision of Food and Beverages / Restaurants did not experience significant changes.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2024 amounted to 114.94 or increased 1.18 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
Grain prices at the farm level in December 2024 experienced an increase in the quality of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) by 7.18 percent and an increase in the quality of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) by 5.84 percent.
The average price of grain in December 2024 at the farm level for GKG quality was IDR 7,016, and GKP was IDR 6,447 per kg. For GKG quality, the highest price was IDR 7,500 for the Inpari 32 HDB variety, and the lowest price was IDR 6,500 for the Ciherang variety.
